This is your profile and portfolio of ideas & projects. You can get here by clicking on your picture on the left side toolbar or home. Include some information about yourself, provide some tags of interest, and fill your portfolio with great ideas.

The Project Profile

This is a project page, where you work on growing your idea. Update the project, add collaborators, share it (Twitter, Facebook, Digg, etc), read pings – feedback from other users. On the left task bar, the project’s momentum is displayed. Momentum is a measure of traction and takes into account activity around your idea – updates, pings by others, collaborators, watchers, etc.

Starting a Project

Starting a project is easy – just click on “Start Embarking”. Enter a title, up to 300 words for a description, and tags. Say as much or as little about your project; make your updates public or select specifically who you want to view them. Advanced options include adding project graphics, adding files, URL links, RSS feeds, and having a Twitter account link.

Marketplace

Marketplace is the Pro section of Embarkons. Get a monthly subscription or pay for credits to enter marketplace and get access to more features. Sell assets related to your project, find the right partner or service provider, or buy assets from other Pro users. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, create a challenge for someone to address.

Challenges

Develop solutions to challenges put forth by companies, non-profits, Embarkons, and individuals. Win prizes and gain recognition for your work.
